8 forever-fresh pods of dried Sweet Basil, containing 1/2 teaspoon each. Delicate, floral, and slightly sweet. One of the most popular basil varieties, sweet basil is the key ingredient in traditional Italian pesto and a host of other classics. Does your recipe call for fresh? 1 Tbsp fresh herb converts to 1 tsp dried. Pods are made of aluminum, the most recycled and recyclable material in the world.
